The terrace had good bones and poor organisation: circulation crossed the best seating, and the planting wanted full sun in a place that receives salt wind for most of the year.

The proposal moves the main path to the rear, releases the seaward edge for seating under a light shade structure, and rebuilds the border as a layered section — low wind-tolerant cover, mid-height flowering shrubs, then palms for vertical rhythm.

Hard surfaces stay in the existing local stone; new elements are limited to the shade frame, seating and lighting, so the terrace keeps its original character.
